Guidelines:- Account Security

There have been lot of request about hacked accounts. So I think about to creating these Guidelines for securing accounts getting lost.

The First Protection:-Using Strong Passwords

The most important part of your account is security, having a strong password of your account would be harder to guess by anyone instead of you. Your favourite place, birthday,name or anything else about yourself is not a good choice for your password. A better way to having your password strong is to use Capital & lowercase Letters. Do a possible job to keep remember your personal password. If you are a little bit lazy to remember them then put your passwords in some .txt file or somewhere else you fell to keep them safe.

Second:-Passwords Should be Close & Secret

BE SURE THAT NEVER TELL YOUR PASSWORD TO ANYONE

Do not share your password with your best friends,relatives,brothers and girlfriends,(ANYONE). As we all know that relationship with someone can be end at any moment. and their angryness would find a way to get you in trouble for example:- They may try to hack your account or something.

REMEMBER:-

An Admin will never ever ask for your password," Some of the users try to hack your in-game accounts with this way.

Third:- Linked Passwords

Do not use a same password for your each account. This pretains to iG, and of course include socail media sites (Facebook,Twitter,Orkut,Youtube,Skype etc) Using the same password for your each account can result in getting stolen of all of them at same time.

Fourth:- Security Questions

When using every forum,be sure to have a security question perfectly set this could help you account to get recovered after stolen or maybe when you forget them. I am suggesting something to iG that they must install security question mod to our mybb forum software. This could help in preventing against creating a new account by the old user and requesting to getting his account back.
If you have shared your password with someone and after reading this thread you are feeling that your account is un-secure
then you can freely contact to a Head Administrator about the situation He/She may help you in changing your password.

Keeping your account secure is your responsibility.
